The upcoming Nokia BH-905 Bluetooth stereo headset isn’t purely designed to be paired with your Bluetooth enabled Nokia device – it’s ambition is far greater, as the BH-905 is keen to adapt and apply its talents to both home and on-the-hop use, with plugs for airplanes, home stereo set-ups (6.3mm jack), computers and other music players (3.5mm jack).
Of course it’s caller-savvy to its core, with two of its 10 microphones dedicated to making crisp voice calls – one mic soaks up your speech whilst the other simultaneously eliminates ambient noise for the listener so your conversations sound much clearer. As for the other eight microphones, these are dotted throughout the headset (see video below) to help create the best possible noise cancellation experience. Nokia Messaging Available in Italy

Wireless carrier Telecom Italia and Espoo, Finland-based phone maker Nokia announced today that the easy-to-use messaging service Nokia Messaging would come to mobile phone users in Italy starting with mid-September. Telecom Italia subscribers will be able to enjoy the Nokia Messaging push email service, along with new offers for sending and receiving emails directly from their handsets.
"With this service, Nokia and Telecom Italia join forces to drive mobile messaging adoption for their customers using Nokia solutions and Telecom Italia special data plans. We are glad to satisfy the growing consumer demand to access email accounts directly from the device whenever they want, wherever they are. The objective is to bring mobile email to everyone and make it easily accessible to the largest number of users possible," said Alessandro Mondini Branzi, General Manager, Nokia Italia.

Nokia Messaging is a service that enables users mobilize multiple emails in a simple manner. At the same time, it also comes with push technology that ensures the messages are sent automatically to the user's phone. Up to ten personal email accounts can be set up on a single device, and the service features support for Gmail, Yahoo!Mail, and Windows Live Hotmail, as well as for other email accounts, including alice.it, TIN.it, or virgilio.it.

TIM customers will have the opportunity to choose a new MAXXI Mail offering, which delivers them 1GB of storage a month. The possibility to check one’s email while on the road comes at only EUR 4 per month including VAT. Telecom Italia announced new offers for business customers as well, starting with the daily usage option that costs EUR 1 a day, and going all the way to monthly-subscription options.

The service can be enjoyed in Italy on a number of 30 Nokia Symbian devices, the duo announced, and the list includes the Nokia E75, Nokia E55, Nokia N97, Nokia E71 and Nokia N95 8GB, along with other popular handsets. Nokia N97 mini to be debut device for Lifecasting on Ovi location-based partnership with Facebook
Nokia has announcing its new Lifecasting on Ovi Facebook partnership will debut on the N97 Mini.
Lifecasting with Ovi is a location-based partnership with Facebook that claims to be the first application to let people publish their location and status updates directly to their Facebook account from the home screen of a mobile device.
Lifecasting will premiere on the new Nokia N97 mini, said to be a smaller version of the N97 featuring a tilting 3.2 inch touch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and fully customisable homescreen. The app will be released as part of a free software update for the N97.
Nokia Nseries vice president Jonas Geust said: "People want to bring their physical and online worlds together via the internet.
"The Nokia N97 mini is designed for this new social internet and to help navigate people and places. With lifecasting, the Nokia N97 mini and Ovi usher in the next chapter of personal and location-aware internet."
The N97 mini also features updated Ovi Maps, which in addition to global pedestrian navigation, offers access to premium content from Lonely Planet, Michelin and Wcities, pitching the device as a travel companion.
The Nokia N97 mini is expected to begin shipping in October for an estimated retail price of €450 (£396) before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia Booklet is priced at €565 also before taxes and subsidies although a release date has yet to be revealed.
