HTC Announces Desire for Singapore

On Friday, Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced the launch of its high-end HTC Desire on the market in Singapore. According to the company, the new handset is set to become available for purchase in Singapore at the end of May, featuring a suggested retail price of $898, and being put on sale via all authorized retailers. The device runs under Google's Android 2.1 operating system, on top of which HTC loaded its HTC Sense user experience.
“HTC Sense on the new HTC Desire not only offers a dynamic and personalized user experience but also delivers one of the richest visual experiences possible. It’s the stuff of powerful inspiration,” Jack Tong, VP of HTC Asia, commented on the launch.
